Uncover your scaling potential in 2 to 4 weeks
A 360° diagnosis of your business: where the value lies, what blocks it, and the roadmap to capture it. It ends with a pragmatic, execution-ready 12-month scaling roadmap, prioritized by business impact and aligned with your board.
When a Scale Diagnostic makes sense
Growth is slowing, and the board wants a credible plan to reignite it.
The company needs to create the conditions for success in organic growth and acquisitions.
Margins are under pressure, and cost cuts alone will not fix them.
The operating model struggles to keep pace with growth or with AI.
AI investments are running, but the P&L does not move.
A new CEO or leadership team needs an objective view within the first 100 days.
A complete view of your business, built on the Scale Map
We assess each Scale Engine (Revenue, Customer, Operating and Organization) against the four capabilities of the Scaling Journey. Technology & AI, the fifth Scale Engine, is examined within each of them. The result shows the maturity level of each Scale Engine, and where improvement will create the most value.
The diagnosis can cover all Scale Engines, or focus on a single one, Revenue for example, depending on the CEO's priorities and the scope of the engagement.

Four steps, led by a senior operator from start to finish. Duration depends on scope: about two weeks for a single Scale Engine, up to four for all of them.

What it takes from your team
Half a day to one day in total: kick-off, an interview, a check-in and the final presentation.
A one- to two-hour interview each.
Access to financial, commercial and operational reports.
Time commitments depend on scope. A diagnosis across all Scale Engines requires longer interviews than one focused on a single engine.
The roadmap is yours
You can execute the plan with your own teams, or with our support through the Scale Execution Office or the Scale AI Office. There is no obligation to continue with us.
Not another audit
Led by an operator
The diagnosis is run by someone who has carried a P&L and led many scaling programs, not delegated to a junior team.
360°, no blind spots
Each Scale Engine in scope is examined in depth, so the real constraint is found, not the most visible one.
Sized by business impact
Every recommendation comes with its value and its priority, not a list of generic best practices.
AI where it pays
We show where AI will create value, and where it would only accelerate a weak process.

Frequently asked questions
What is a Scale Diagnostic?
A 2- to 4-week, 360° diagnosis of a company's ability to scale revenue, operations and profit. It identifies where value lies, what blocks it, and delivers a pragmatic, execution-ready 12-month scaling roadmap.
Can the diagnosis focus on a single Scale Engine?
Yes. Depending on the CEO's priorities, the diagnosis can cover all Scale Engines or focus on one, such as Revenue or Operating. A focused diagnosis is shorter, and can be extended to the other engines later.
What is the difference between the Scale Scorecard and the Scale Diagnostic?
The Scorecard is a free 8-minute self-assessment that gives a first view of the maturity of your five Scale Engines. The Diagnostic is a full analysis, led by a senior operator, based on interviews and your data, with every lever sized by its impact on revenue, operations and profit. It delivers a detailed execution plan, ready to deploy.
How much of our leadership team's time does it require?
Half a day to one day for the CEO, and one to two hours per member of the leadership team, depending on scope. We work from your financial, commercial and operational reports.
Is our data kept confidential?
Yes. A non-disclosure agreement is signed before any data is shared.
What happens after the diagnosis?
We present the findings to your board and hand over every deliverable. You own the plan: you can execute it with your teams, or with our support through the Scale Execution Office or the Scale AI Office.
Is the diagnosis useful if we do not continue with ASCALATE?
Yes. The Scale Map, the sizing and the 12-month plan are designed to be executed by your own teams.
